The beer tasting room, located above the restaurant in the original Tanners Guild meeting area, has been expertly restored to its 19th century glory. With antique seating and tastefully chosen decorations, you can be sure to experience an atmosphere of cozy sophistication. Learn how to identify the different features of craftbeer or ale in a relaxed yet educational setting. Sample 5 different beers over a 90 minute session and gain a few trade secrets along the way.

The tasting room also caters to a range of corporate and private events, as well as birthdays and stag / hen groups. We offer not only beer tastings, but also gin, whisky and wine tastings. With room for up to 28 people and private dining for 18, it’s perfect for any occasion.
